| Introduction | Born and raised in Houston, traveled a lot, learned a little, had a generally decent life. My friends are my family, my family are insane and brilliant, and my lifestyle is unintentionally Bohemian. I love to learn and consider a day wasted if I haven't picked up some fact or trivial tidbit of knowledge by the time I go to bed, which is usually at some ungodly hour due to my complete lack of any temporal sense. I'm a jack of most trades, and enjoy cooking, sewing, drawing, writing, and really doing anything to keep myself from the creeping menace of ennui. I live with my mentor and the love of my life, and his two spiders - Malice and Ra, our snake Naga, and several rats. We're both sort of the model of 'The Renaissance Man', being lovers of all facets of academia, culture, and philosophy, as well as just generally adept at anything we set about trying. All in all life is good. |
