| Introduction | I grew up in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, later moving to Florida. I am proud to say I'm an award-winning author, something I dreamed of my entire adult life. Reading was a major part of my life no matter what else was happening. I attended Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and Indian River Community College in Fort Pierce, Florida but the important things in life were learned through experience. I am a member of the National League of American Pen Women and a past president of that organization. I also belong to Florida Writer Association and found that organization very helpful. I have held workshops throughout the state of Florida on creative writing, how to write memoirs. Recently I was privileged to teach creative writing at South Florida Community College. I belong to the Heartland Cultural Alliance and work with the Friends of the Sebring Library. Helping budding authors is a reward I enjoy. |
