| Introduction | Thomas Shepherd, D.Min. teaches theology, church history and theological ethics at Unity Institute & Seminary. Best known for his popular Q&A column “Good Questions” in Unity Magazine, his books include Friends in High Places, Glimpses of Truth, Good Questions, Jesus 2.1 and The Many Faces of Prayer. Tom served a tour in Vietnam as a decorated medical evacuation helicopter pilot. After Vietnam, Tom left the Army to earn a B.S. Ed. (cum laude) at the University of Idaho and M.Div. (magna cum laude) from Lancaster Theological Seminary. He returned to active duty and completed 20 years service as an Army Chaplain. In 2009 he received his Doctor of Ministry degree from St.Paul School of Theology in Kansas City, MO. In 2011 he received the Charles Fillmore Award from Unity Worldwide Ministries.
