| Favorite books | I like books. For a long time I told people my favorite book was A Fan's Notes by Frederick Exley, which no one had ever heard of, but I gave that book away to my ex-girlfriend as some sort of poorly conceived final offering the meaning of which was never all that clear. Jesus' Son is in the (lifelong) process of teaching me how to feel. Infinite Jest might be the best book it is possible for a human to write. John Ashbery is my new hero. I wish I was Gary Snyder. And, oh yeah, Bob Dylan. |
