| Introduction | I’m very connected with alternative spiritual meditation groups. Have been in many. Starting with the TM or Trancendental Meditation community in Fairfield, Ia. formerly called MAHARISHI INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY Went on to study TIBETAN BUDDHISM in Dharamsala, India with the Dalai Lama. Also spent alot of time meditating with OSHO community at OSHO COMMUNE INTERNATIONAL in Poona, India. Of late have been a member of HARBIN HOT SPRINGS in Middletown, Ca. | Interests | I am fascinated by world culture. I guess I’m sorta an amateur sociologist. Have traveled around the world over a dozen times. Naturally this led to my import business: THE HIMALAYAN TRADERS. Have also studied world history. Very influenced by those who came before. I particularly like to read about beats, bohemians, and 60’s subculture. Love ethnic world beat music. Used to DJ and still explore new music all the time. Have started writing again regularly. Was a screen writer in Hollywood for awhile and now I’m getting back into it! |
| Favorite movies | Now this is something I do like, but mostly the obscure documentry, foreign films, or art films. I do admit however that I have a love of Sci-Fi. |
| Favorite music | Ethno World Beat, Afro Caribbean, Trance, Reggaeton, Funk, Soul, Classic Rock, Jazz, Reggae, New Age, Blues, &; Latin. The only thing you'll not get me to listen to is Country Western. |
| Favorite books | Bohemian Beat Subculture, History of the 60s generally. Eastern Philosophy, Tao, Buddhism, Osho, Zen, & world history. |
