Introduction	I love writing. It evolved kind of organically from my love of reading. We always had books in the house and I remember hearing my parents discuss their favorite books time and again. Their words made it so clear to me that writers were wonderful beings, providing entertainment and knowledge and magical insights and openings to worlds far away. I guess I became a writer because of of their respect and admiration for the written word. Although I became a journalist first. I really enjoyed the thrill and rush of interviewing, and the ego-flush of seeing my byline, but at the back of my mind was always that nudging thought, that vision of ultimate joy: writing fiction. Moving to the US and then later, becoming a mother helped accomplish that. Now I'm blogging!
Interests	Reading, writing, walking, making up stories as I people watch, cooking, eating, traveling, learning how to meditate, and never giving up trying to understand my cats.
