| Introduction | I am Lydia Abend, a junior and and English major at UNH. My background is not as much in journalism as it is in writing. I won first place in my high school's essay writing contest as a freshman, second place as a sophomore, and honorable mention as a junior. I have been published in TeenInk, a national teen literary magazine, for non-fiction memoirs I wrote during my freshman year at UNH. |
