Location	Aberdeenshire, United Kingdom
Introduction	I am a self taught amateur artist and have been interested in aircraft from around the age of four. Drawing and , in adult life , painting them has been an abiding source of entertainment and relaxation. I have painted scenes and aircraft from all era's ,civilian and military but most enjoy tackling military fast jets at low level. After five years service in the Royal Air Force as an Instrument Mechanic at RAF Leuchars and RAFG Gutersloh I was later lucky enough to spend some 25 years working in Manchester where I had easy access to some of the best low flying areas in the country , namely Wales, the Lakes and the Dales managing to capture some reasonable photos of the action. Now retired to the North East of Scotland I still enjoy the odd day sat on a hillside shooting Tornado ( or any other) jets with a digital SLR camera. These photos give me a sound basis for future paintings.
