| Introduction | Hi! Thanks for checking out our blog. We are a husband and wife duo with four rescued very independent cats - Bounder, Flora, Alvin and Minnie Pearl. I work for The Nature Conservancy in Ohio as their Conservation Volunteer Coordinator and with my wife in our new business - a native plant nursery and as soap/reclaimed wood furniture makers. We live in Central Ohio in an hundred+ year old house on 3.5 acres. Living lightly on this planet and self-sufficiency are very important to us. Join us as we explore ways to become more independent, while lessening our footprint and sharing our space creatively with nature. We are interested in so many things: nature, hiking, craft, thrift, cooking great food, growing food and plants, living simply, etc. Our blog will have little bits of all these things so check back often. |
