| Interests | The Family Times is Now "Plugged In" and On-Line!! This Noble project began many years ago, as 3 Central Families got together to form a closer get together (Gathering) Two Beloved sisters named Felicita and Nieves always got their families together. In !969 Joaquin Maldonado officially began the Christmas Gatherings that would join the large growing family. In 1986, a new project emerged inspired by the old families. Noel Serrano formed the Gala Foundation because there was a great need to establish a more permanent establishment for the future families. Hence came the birth of the Family Times! Noel Serrano produced the original Magazines from 1986 thru 1998. His vision was to begin publishing on-line by 2000. Noel Serrano has been able to fulfill his mother's passing wish: "It is my petition, desire and wish that this organization will continue for the continued benefit of our children and grandchildren and all those who compose the Gala Foundation" Felicita M. Serrano (1924-1987) I now dedicate this New Project to the Memory of my Late Mother Felicita M. Serrano, a 25 year Bible School Teacher. She was my Mentor and my Best Friend. She was a Grand and Noble Woman of Prayer. The Family Times will now focus on a broader Outreach of Support, Inspiration and Motivation to the Global Family!
