Introduction	I was raised in Walnut Creek, California. My love for baking, especially cookies, started as a young girl, helping my mom in our kitchen. I modeled my way through high school and college and graduated from UCLA. In 1983, my passion for baking materialized into creating Blue Chip Cookies. Now, 27 years later, my passion has materialized yet again, with my new company, Lori's Legendary. This time, it's not just about cookies, it's about giving back. I have written "From Cover Girl to Cookie Queen", an inspirational book full of life lessons, quotes and favorite recipes. The best part is sharing the hope I have and giving back to Hope Charities.
