About me

Introduction	Dev and I met through a friend of a friend of a friend...divinely planned? We think so. We met while I was home from BYU the summer of 07. We dated for the summer, but planned on it being a casual thing since I was leaving again for school in Aug. Of course, things didn't exactly go to plan. I was back in Vegas a week later to visit. We then got engaged on Thanksgiving Day 2007 at my grandparent's house. Devan led me to a fire pit and picnic table in my grandparents backyard where he had s'mores and sparkling cider waiting. This was extra special because this is where my parents got engaged. We had picked out the ring together, so this was not a surprise, but the ring wasn't supposed to be ready for another week. However, Dev pulled some strings and got it early. When he knelt down on one knee, I told him to stop being silly and get up, because I didn't think he had the ring...when he pulled it out, I of course started crying and couldn't believe he somehow had managed to surprise me when I knew it was coming! We have now been married for 2 years and have loved every minute of it!
