Introduction	I am at present, a 52 year old college student who went back to school (I'm hoping to get a degree of some sort) because like travelling in Central and South America, it is something I've always wanted to do. I want to become a better writer because like with traveling, writing is a great way to bridge some of the gaps we all feel when we don't feel like we really know our local or global neighbors. It is also a great way to express ourselves and bring attention and meaning to different aspects of life.
Interests	Music, I enjoy playing guitar, congas, percussion or anything that can "hold a beat".I’m interested in meditation, martial arts, motorcycling, kayaking and hiking.
Favorite movies	Lord of the Rings, Forrest Gump, Back to the Future, Mountain Man, The Graduate, The Gods Must Be Crazy,Woodstock.....
Favorite music	All kinds, mostly non-commercial. Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz, Latin American, any world or cultural music. There is so much good music out there most of us have never heard, or is recorded.
Favorite books	Lord of the Rings, The Peaceful Warrior, The Magic of Findhorn. Spiritual books from different traditions including Hindu, The Tao, and Christian.
