Introduction	I got a cochlear implant on June 16, 2008. I was born profoundly deaf and wore hearing aids off and on, but never benefited "much" from them. I rediscovered the joy of sound when I was 18 and got a hearing aid. I used it all the time (yes, even in my sleep!!) and really wanted to benefit more from sound, so I became a cyborg March '08. Other than that, I'm an ordinary college student at University of WA, lovin' Seattle, but not always appreciating the rain! Feel free to contact me anytime! I love meeting people :)
Interests	Photography, psychology, adoptions, cochlear implants, deaf, Starbucks, special needs, Down syndrome, movies, wishing on stars, outdoor sports, swimming, hiking, just about anything that's fun.
Favorite music	Queen, Electric Light Orchestra....I need to stop or I'll start listing so many. :D
