| Introduction | They say getting married a second time is the triumph of hope over experience. What about getting married a second time and having two more children? Well, I've got two 'big' children aged 23 and 20, and two 'little' ones aged 3 and 1, plus a 13-year-old step-daughter. I try to lead an eco-friendly lifestyle – I do a lot of recycling and get an organic veggie box – but I'm often defeated by exhaustion, lack of funds, or a combination of the two. So my life is full of compromises. Deciding where to draw the line on my green principles occupies a good deal of my thinking time. But I'm still hopeful. |
