Introduction | Shelley is the one-man band behind Grace & Joy. She is a life-long learner. To her, every day is an opportunity to begin anew, to discover something exciting and fresh. Having dabbled in yoga throughout her early years, she made the shift from dabbler to dedicated student in 2004. Trained in the holistic approach to Hatha Yoga through the YTT program at Vancouver’s Langara College, and proclaimed to be ‘kickass Kung-Fun Zen-tastic’ (by someone who may or may not be related to her) , she is joyously enthusiastic about sharing her love of exploring all things yoga. She is very excited about introducing her beginner students to the mystery behind Sanskrit, the grace of mudra, the strength of asana, and the stillness of meditation. A recipient of Rotary International’s Paul Harris Fellow Award for Service above Self, Shelley is dedicated to living a life of practiced values off –and on – the mat. |

Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?
Have you been following me around? How is it that you've come to know of my taste for copper? Because every time I chew down on a penny, I break off some more enamel???
