| Introduction | Nexos Voluntarios is a non-profit organization that has been working to promote social development in Peru through volunteer work. Volunteers have come from 10 different countries and have participated in over 30 projects related to healthcare, education, human rights, the environment, business and development. Nexos Voluntarios promotes cooperation between volunteers, local universities, corporations, non-profits and international organizations in order to complete and create new projects. Current projects are taking place in Lima, Cusco and Urubamba, but Nexos is planning to initiate volunteer programs in at least two other Latin American countries within the next three years. |
