| Introduction | Right after my daughter was born I had a brain tumor removed. I've had to do a lot of therapy to regain basic abilities that I lost like walking, speaking, writing and eating. The tumor returned in 2014 and was removed again followed by radiation treatments. |
| Interests | I stay at home and take care of my 10-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter. After my surgery I had a lot of things I needed to regain. Besides what I've already mentioned, I was almost completely blind and I lost a lot of coordination. The entire left side of my body stopped working. I have made a lot of progress but I'm still working to improve. Over time, my eye sight and left side problems resolved themselves enough for me to function. I love my family both immediate and extended and am very grateful for the help they've given me. I've had so much help from everyone and continue to need it but we are all doing great. |
