| Introduction | As a former healthcare professional who was inspired to begin studying in the medical field in junior high school, and throughout four years of high school in New York, Miriam firmly believes that in order to produce knowledgeable well-rounded medical professionals to serve our country's men, women, and children, they need to start in the medical field early while attending 'Middle School,' and not a minute later! "Our children's minds are like sponges: The earlier they learn medical terminology, which is a lot like "texting" someone by using abbreviations and acronyms, then the earlier they can begin to move forward to expand their knowledge in their medical studies. The 20th Century way of teaching has become obsolete, and it's the 21st Century methodology that will catapult our younger generation toward great heights in the field of medicine. |
