Introduction	Owen Doherty is a Ph.D. student at the School of Marine and Atmospheric Science at Stony Brook University, having previously received his masters at Stony Brook and his bachelors of science in Atmospheric Science from Cornell University. Owen is doing his research on the transport of small particles (primarily dust) in the atmosphere over long distances.
