Introduction	I am an old blogger who has found their way back to the internet. I love being a mom, an African American, spending time with my husband and shopping online. I waste time on Facebook and I do not spend enough time on Twitter. Reading is my favorite past time but bad reality shows are my guilty pleasure. Here, I blog about parenting, businesses and their successes, and innovation.

Favorite movies	The Color Purple ("You told Harpo to beat me"), Lean on Me ("Mr. Clark don't play"), Wedding Crashers (It was so funny)
Favorite music	80's and 90's R&B, neo-soul and some country, Disney kids music, Pop and just about anything with a good beat and melody.
Favorite books	The Last Street Novel by Omar Tyree, Married Men by Carl Weber, The Nanny Diaries by Emma Mclaughlin and Nicola Kraus, Good in Bed by Jennifer Weiner, a Family Affair by Reshonda Tate Billingsley
