Introduction	I am a medievalist and a graduate assistant in Western Michigan University's English department. Previously, I've taught courses on literary interpretation, Norse and Celtic mythologies and the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, and early British literature. I'm working toward earning a PhD in English literature and this semester I have received a fellowship to enable me to complete my dissertation-- a series of ecocritical readings of Anglo-Saxon texts.
