| Introduction | A few years ago, I worked as an ICU nurse in a busy county hospital. I was assigned a patient weighing nearly 400 lbs. By the end of the shift, my back hurt so much I couldn't stand upright. I have not had a pain-free day since. It is not right that nurses should have to hurt themselves in order to do their jobs! I am trying to get a viral movement started to get H.R. 2480, the Nurse and Health Care Worker Protection Act passed. We can do this if we ALL work together! |
