| Introduction | Mr. Bott has taught 30 years, all but one at Stagg. He has a B.A. in literature from UC Santa Cruz and an M.A. in English from CSU Sacramento. Awards include 1994 San Joaquin County Teacher of the Year and 2002 Dow Jones National High School Journalism Teacher of the Year. In 2004 he was named to the Edison High School Hall of Fame. In 2015 he was awarded the Distinguished Secondary Teacher Award from Northwestern University in Chicago. |
