| Introduction | Rachel Hope Turany Mendell has been a closet writer since age 6. She started writing for publication in 1997. She held free writing workshops to flush out other writers in 2002 and landed a reporting job in 2004. She became editor of a local newspaper in 2011, then went freelance in 2015. Rachel lives in Ohio with her husband on a hobby farm where she writes, gardens, crochets, and experiments with art and herbs. Rachel and her husband have seven children and three grandchildren. |
