| Introduction | I'm retired (since 2003) from careers in public recreation administration and journalism education. I continue to write, occasionally professionally and tend to move from place to place. Since retiring I've moved to Central California, have traveled (for a full year) around North America and have served a full term as an AmeriCorps Member (plus an added 8 months attempting to finish what I started). I'm now financially trapped in the Valley waiting for real estate prices to recover. In 2012, I'll either sell my house or turn it into a rental and hit the road again -- this time in a camper. |
