| Introduction | I've been knitting for about 30 years, I was initially taught by my grandmother, but didn't follow up with it until I was in nursing school in my twenties when I was inspired by a friend's mother and taught, again, by my mother! The secret, was learning to purl; after that, there was nothing holding me back!! I live with a very hard working husband, two sensitive and smart children, 2 cats, some fish and a white lab. It's a full life! |

Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
I think forks came first....funny, this reminds me of the chicken or the egg debate...I think that first people stabbed their food, thereby creating a fork; then people made a tool to replace their hands that they used for scooping up liquids. This was probably initiated after the invention of HOT food!
