| Introduction | Vanessa relocated to Vermont in 2006 from Oakland, CA to find a better way of life. Vanessa was born and raised in Italy until moving to the US for college. In Italy she spent all her free time at her aunt and uncle's farm in the northern Italian countryside. She grew up with horses, cows, pigs, goats, corn,and lots of rice fields. Vanessa believes in a sustainable lifestyle that includes peace, green living, buying local and organic/natural, and participating in the local economy with her own grass fed lamb, forest raised pork, and free-range eggs.
