| Introduction | As I prepared to send my oldest child off to Germany for a year, I found that there was little information and support available for parents of high school students planning to study abroad long term (one or two semesters). Let's change that! What are my qualifications to blog about this topic? I studied in Peru as a 17-year old; I studied in Spain as a 20-year old; I teach international college students in the USA, and (most importantly) my 17-year-old daughter currently is living in Germany for one year. |
