| Introduction | I've loved all things miniature for as long as I can remember. As a child, no box or cardboard was safe from being converted to a post-office or home; I revelled in the imaginative and creative world of small things. I built my first kit dollhouse when I was 20 and since then I've been creating all sorts of miniatures to fill the various dollhouses that I've made over the years. I currently have a very large 15-room dollhouse, Concorde Manor, built from scratch, which graces my living room so I can enjoy looking at it all the time. I'm always working on something related to miniatures, either furnishings, accessories, food, plants or dolls. As a niche hobby, finding like-minded friends down the street isn't always easy, so the internet has been wonderful at bringing together so many talented and imaginative people. I've been inspired by so many generous and talented people who've shared stories, photos, advice and tutorials so I want to now share my passion for this hobby as well. |
