| Introduction | It's been said that one should never judge a book by its cover. In the same way, one should never judge a person by what they venture or fail to say. Which is why I blog...to give voice to those thoughts and opinions which often get hung up somewhere between my mind and my mouth. ;) So. Who am I? Quite simply, I am 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. I love Jane Austen, English literature, classical and country music, BBC period drama, coffee, shopping, and making memories with loved ones. But most of all, I am passionate about my calling: bringing the light of Christ into a very dark, degrading world. Thus, this blog, although formerly a creative outlet, also serves to chronicle my journey through this new phase of life...It may not always be pretty. Far from it. But like my faith, we were not born to live behind a shield of security. So I will be honest, in the hopes that from raw truth comes regenerate beauty.
