Introduction	46 yr old single mom in Toronto, Canada. Recently laid off from a very interesting job, taking some time to reconsider life before plunging into the Next Big Thing. I first learned to throw in 1986. I used my vacation time that year to take a summer course at Central Tech in Toronto. It was love at first wedge. I did my first raku that summer too. I continued to pot in night school for several years, mostly under the tutelage of Michael Sheba (an early leader in North American raku). I eventually set up a studio in a friend's basement, which I enjoyed for 2 years until she sold the house and I sold everything off. I haven't touched clay since 1994. I'm glad to be back in it.
