Introduction	The idea for the petition began with a local women's book club after they had read a letter on library underfunding by Dr. Arnold Neufeldt-Fast in the Stouffville Sun-Tribune. They wanted raise awareness and do something to change the situation. This inspired me (Arnold Neufeldt-Fast) to address council on June 21 with the support of the book club members (see Qs under tab above). We were not satisfied with the response.
