Introduction	Doug is a registered pharmacist now practicing in Scottsboro, Al. His father, R.L. (Levi) Hodges was a co-founder of Hodges Drug Store in 1938. Doug grew up in Scottsboro and has remained a resident there since birth. He graduated from the Samford University School of Pharmacy in Birmingham, Al. and also served as an officer in the local Alabama National Guard unit for 9 years. He served on the Scottsboro city board of education for 4 years and the city board of recreation for 2 years. The stories he relates about his dad, Levi, are all true stories and remain talked about to this very day by many townsfolk.
