| Introduction | My name is Hannah. I am 7 years old and I have type 1 diabetes. I have had diabetes since I was 18 months old. I have a bunch of animals including a dog, cat, two turtles, an Oscar fish, two algae eaters, a snail and a shark. I love to go camping and swimming. I love horses and gorillas. I even adopted a gorilla this year to help save her life - she is named Kubana. I like to play sports. I play basketball, soccer, golf and some dance. My favorite subject in school is Math. Someday I want to grow up and work with horses. I know a lot about diabetes and would like to talk to other kids about it and their parents. |
