| Introduction | A single parent of two children who live with me. In my spare time I love the outdoors and hunt and fish all over the USA. I began hunting in 1978 when I attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and it became an obsession. In 1983 I began to write about my experiences and this resulted in my becoming Editor of the HailCall, a newsmagazine for Illinois waterfowlers but now I write mostly for fun and to capture my varied experiences for your reading and viewing pleasure. This past winter of 2012, we branched out into video and have a number of raw videos from hunts in Illinois, Arkansas, Missouri and beyond. Learning to use the GoPro Hero and Contour Roam has greatly added to the experience. It is my hope that will only enhance the future as we become more experienced and add to our stable of equipment. My pursuits have taken me from Illinois to the Hudson Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, North Dakota, Missouri and many other places in between. Anyway, I look forward to posting more stories here and elsewhere along with videos and hope you enjoy them! |
