| Introduction | J.W. Thompson Served in the Marine Corps and is a Scuba Diver, and does volunteer work in his spare time. He is a former resident of North Carolina, but now resides in Florida. Serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Writers Association and a Regional Director for three counties. Chairman for the 2012/2013 Royal Palm Literary Awards. Serves as a judge on the Florida Book Awards and Co-chair for the FWA Youth Writers Leadership Team.
