| Introduction | I’ve started this blog for the usual reasons. Family and friends have asked that I keep them updated on my whereabouts, and I have the typical desire to tell the stories. We're all historians and storytellers at heart, with a basic compulsion to make a record of events, and to retell them artfully, in a way that makes sense of our experiences.
