| Introduction | After a few life-changing events, I finally went back and got my Master's degree in Humanities (or, as my daughter calls it, "advanced shake-making"). Finally, in Fall of 2006, I started teaching dual-enrollment Composition (101 & 102) classes for the community college at a local high school. Not full-time, not permanent, but a foot in the door. |
| Interests | Reading, Knitting, Writing, Kayaking, Gardening, Bicycling. |
| Favorite movies | My favorite movies tend to change every few months or years. Right now I really like "Good Night and Good Luck," and "An Inconvenient Truth." For a good time, watch "O Brother, Where Art Thou," "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," "Shakespeare in Love," and "Secondhand Lions." I like murder mysteries, drama, comedy, fantasy--good escapism. I don't like depressing endings. |
| Favorite music | Classic Rock, Motown and Folk--takes me back to good times. My kids think I was a hippie, and who am I to debunk those myths? |
| Favorite books | Really having a good time with Carl Hiasson right now. With all the reading for my class, I am not looking for anything deep. |
Well, maybe they don't need them, but don't you think that some fish might like a bicycle?
We all need a bicycle every once in awhile.
