| Introduction | I'm Emily. I am studying English Lit at Belmont University. I like children's books and mysteries. I remember being read Encyclopedia Brown aloud by my Dad as a girl, dreaming about a book for the first time in fourth grade, and falling in love with Sydney Carton in high school. If I were to write a book, I would want it to be a kidventure with a picture at the start of each chapter and a story that somehow demonstrates the truth of the Gospel. I believe that reading is the best way to gain empathy and that by spending time with characters of great novels we learn to relate to others and the world around us. This blog is an exploration of that idea. Let the wild rumpus start! |
