| Introduction | I was born In England and grew up in the the grim north......close to Leeds, but not close enough to stop me following Huddersfield town!!!.....I always knew I wanted to see the world as a kid. I never imagined I would get to see as much as I have. For me travel is about fulling emmersing ones self in the culture of whereever it is you happen to be...Experiencing it as a local person would...not as a package tourist....package tourism has its place for sure...cept not in my world..not yet anyway...maybe one day when im incapable of finding out for myself when the next bus to Hua hin is or where I can change money on the black market in SM mall!!!Australia was my first passion. .and its in the process of getting there that i fully realised the true beuty of travel...Its not the places ypur go or sights you see...Its the people you meet..some very briefly..some who stick around..some you can't get rid of!!!....all have played a part in shaping the person I have become and hopefully in allowing me to pass on to my daughter a few of the good things I have learn't. |
