Introduction	James Queally is a police and fire reporter for the Newark Star-Ledger and a graduate of The College of New Jersey, where he earned a BA in Journalism and a minor in Communications in May 2009. In the past, James has interned at the Staten Island Advance, New York Daily News and Philadelphia Inquirer. He also freelanced for the NYDN and Trenton Times. In April 2009, James' sports column "The Cheap Seats," originally written for TCNJ's student newspaper The Signal, won first place in the column writing category of the New Jersey Press Association's 2009 "Better College Newspapers Contest."
