| Introduction | I am a 32 year old now single Alabama gal who can be as bubbly as the bubbles you blow in your chocolate milk!! ha! ha! If you entertain your inner child every now and then you blow bubbles~I do!! ha! ha! I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, endometriosis and divorce (yes you can be a divorce survivor and it aint easy either!) I established the Sam Phillips Music Celebration held in Florence, AL every year, I am president of Alabama Fans TCB For Elvis Fan Club and I am currently (for 5 years now) working to get Sam Phillips~The Father of Rock n' Roll honored a United States Postage Stamp. |
| Interests | WRITING, genealogy, paranormal, gardening, philosophy outdoors, art (me creating it), MUSIC most definitely, travel, where I want to experience the ocean for the first time (has to be at sunrise), childrens advocacy (I taught preschool/toddlers for 8 years and I am missing it a lot now)stamps, advocacy for Endometriosis Awareness and did I happen to mention..ELVIS??!! |
| Favorite movies | Elvis (including the silly girl flicks that he hated to make; and there were many. That's a blog for me there.) Many classic movies that star Gregory Peck, John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Lana Turner, Katherine Hepburn, Maureen O'Hara, James Dean..I think yall get the picture. I like comedy. I also enjoy Tom Hanks, Drew Barrymore, Queen Latifah, Patrick Swayze (Forever Orie Main to me), Meg Ryan, Jack Nicholson, Kathy Bates and Steve Martin. I like what guys call 'chick flicks', drama and biographies. |
| Favorite music | ELVIS!! ELVIS!! ELVIS!!~Presley that is! Most everything like classic oldies, classic rock, southern rock, classic country, blues, 80's pop/rock, southern gospel, some hard rock and metal( I have to be in the mood), classical, instrumental like piano, flute and guitar, latin, christian rock, contemporary gospel, folk, and I love several of the relaxation/meditation cds. I can't stand techno, hip hop and rap. |
| Favorite books | Not much into reading unless I need information. The Bible is always #1. Billy Graham and Dr. Charles F. Stanley are AWESOME! To Kill A Mockingbird, Tuesdays With Morrie, self-help and medical books, psychology and personality. I am constantly always doing research to help me understand me, people, the world, issues of interest and how to make me a better person. |
