I fell in love with modern, mid-century and art deco styles. I also learned that if you make smart purchases, used furniture not only looks better and lasts longer than most new furniture, it also keeps and often gains its value. You can furnish your home cheaply with good-looking furniture; and if you get tired of one piece, you can always sell it at a profit.
