| Introduction | Hello my name is Francine. My profile picture is a picture of 4 of my grandchildren. I have 3 more grandchildren, for a total of 7. I learned to crochet when in school, but didn't learn much, and to be honest I didn't like either knitting or crochet. Later on I took up crocheting and taught myself a lot of things. I even taught my mother to crochet, which she picked up quickly. Within 1 week she had 3 skirt and vest outfits crocheted for me and my 2 sisters. My mom as an avid knitter. I remember my dad saying the click click if her knitting needles used to put him to sleep. I learned to knit barbie clothes from my mother. As I said before I didn't really like to knit and crochet. But now, I just can't get enough. Oh and in late 2014, I decided to take up quilting. I'm originally from Montreal. I went to French schools for 2 years, but we were stationed in Antwerpen, Belgium for 2 years. My father was in the Canadian Army. When we came back to Canada, as I went to English school in Antwerp, i continued my studies in English. I do read, speak and write in both languages, but am quicker and better in English. My motto; Have a great day everyone! |
