Introduction	Grafton Lakes State Park is located on the eastern side of New York State. Located in a rural community, but just a twenty minute drive from the nearest city of Troy, the park serves both rural and urban communities. The park is open year round with a 1000 foot beach, a favorite spot for swimmers, and 25 miles of trails, favored by hikers and those who enjoy snowshoeing alike. This year is our 50th anniversary and we are celebrating this special occasion all year long with special events, projects, and programs. We even have merchandise for sale! Come see us at the Welcome Center or call the park for more information 518-279-1155. Volunteers welcomed.
