Introduction Doesn't ...from the leopard print chaise say it all? With such loud furniture it is a surprise I am shy when it comes to describing myself. Here it goes: I am a bicyclist in the far north. I battle severe weather 8 months out of the year, only having the freedom of ice free rides from May to September. I have learnt to love the winter, but complain about it daily. Mountain biking is MY passion. People with passions are inspiring. I am the youngest semi-retired woman I know. I have mastered telling people "I am really busy" with a straight face, when it really means I want to read my book for two hours. I love reading, it puts me to sleep. Nature and being outside are my drugs. I have a thing for trees. I believe competition is healthy. The harder I push myself the better I feel. The harder my competitors push me the more I improve. I am insanely motivated. I have high expectations. I like to have control. I think we have a lot to learn from history, but don't want to live in the past. I like people who make me feel great. I like making others feel great. I never want to be stagnant.

How is an ankle unlike a consequence?

Ankles are about forward momentum. A consequence is tumbling backwards until you hit a door that says "have you learnt your lesson?"
