Introduction	Quite simply a tribute to my mother, whose cooking frankly sucked up until that magical day she perfected her version of Char Siew (chinese roast pork). Every dish that came out of the kitchen thereafter was insanely immaculate. And unfailingly MSG-free, of course. "It'd make all your hair fall out," she said. Could never get enough of her food. Now I cook too. As does my sister, Michaela Lamb at our mirror blog 'Mother...Don't Cook!'.
