Introduction	I'm 27 from Essex in the UK and I suffer from Neurofibromatosis Type 2 (NF2). I have been left totally deaf and with facial paralyses from 2 operations on brain tumours in 2005 and 2007. I also have tumours and lesions on my spine and am awaiting an operation as it has started to affect my balance and walking. I also have a Cochlear Implant which will help me to 'hear' again. I am currently awaiting a minor operation to have a magnet put in it so the external processor (microphone type thing) fits and stays in place.
