| Introduction | I am a 44 year young mother of three and grandmother to one. I am a Primary school teacher and an avid learner. I am beginning this blog in an attempt to map my journey to a new and improved me... although really the journey started a number of years ago when I chose to have lap band surgery. I thought that would be the solution, but really it was only a BandAid, something that helped in the short term, but in the end only managed to highlight that I had a lot of work to do in getting my head in the right space for anything to work at all...
